Louisa Guinness Gallery Stand2014
In 2014, Lydia collaborated with designer and prop stylist, Sam Barbic, to develop and visualise proposals for a display stand to exhibit the jewellery and furniture of the Louisa Guinness Gallery, for PAD Art Fair in London, and later Basel and Miami.
The Louisa Guinness Gallery works with today's leading sculptors and painters to create jewellery as well as collecting and dealing in works by master artists, including contemporary pieces by Ron Arad, Antony Gormley, Anish Kapoor, and historic jewellery by Alexander Calder, Max Ernst and Pablo Picasso.
The exhibition stand needed to reflect the branding and unique style of the Gallery, and showcase the special work of the artists. It was also required to be easy to transport and assemble, and work with the fixings, electrics and lighting available at the venue.
At PAD London, the stand featured pieces by the following artists: Jason Martin, Annie Morris, Anish Kapoor, Tim Noble and Sue Webster, Claude Lalanne, Michael Craig Martin, Sophia Vari, Conrad Shawcross, Mariko Mori, Ross Lovegrove.
