Evergreen Surgery is an NHS practice based on Wanstead High Street, East London, located within the Wanstead Village Conservation Area.  The building has functioned as a surgery since the late 1950s, but featured a residential unit as ancillary accommodation.

Fettle Studio assisted the Surgery by preparing a full planning application to return this redundant residential floorspace back into the surgery, enabling the practice to respond to the changing needs of the surgery, a growing population and the greater demand on essential public facilities, and continue to provide quality NHS care with improved staff welfare spaces.

Supported by drawing package, planning statement and waste plan, planning permission was granted in May 2022.
